Lab in a Cab (photo of the day)

Lola in the front seat, Miraflores

We took Lola on an hour-and-a-half walk along the Malecon in Miraflores last week. By the end we all were pooped, so we hailed a cab and convinced the driver to take the four of us back home to San Antonio.

Lola sat in the front with El Fotografo, squeezed into the tiny floorspace, her tongue lolling. She appeared to enjoy the ride.

Cool dog. Did you move her down from the US or is she Peruvian? Our dogs moved from the US (NC) to Cusco, which was actually fairly uneventful.

Hi Barb. Merry Christmas to you & your family. Hope you’re having a nice time in the US…

Our mutts seem to like Cusco a lot. Compared to living in the suburbs in the US, over here in the Cusco they see a lot more people, and of course other dogs (mostly strays).

I think they miss running around the big back yard we had in NC, but over here the dogs get their kicks from scaring teenage couples walking by in the street 😉
